Can you tell that I love shakes and smoothies? They’re quick, easy, and packed with everything you need to rev up your metabolism, stabilize your blood sugar levels and keep you energized. What’s the difference between a smoothie and a shake? A smoothie is usually fruit (or vegetable based). A shake usually involves some kind of milk (either dairy or dairy free, such as coconut, soy, or almond).

  • 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks • you can put them in the freezer the night before
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 cup kale
  • 2 tbsp mint
  • 1 cup water


  • Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until it becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Drink immediately.
