This is the how to be aware that God is with us all the time plus place us in the present moment where we can see & sense God in the pause! The Pause is Powerful. I like the app idea or we could use a timer to remind us to pause. Great lesson for life not just weight release!

Making up for all the things I let go of to study. It’s now catch up and I was feeling the overwhelm again. I will write a list and as I check things off the list, I will pause and say, I can do this with you to help me. I can catch up and I can get on track, I trust you and I will not lean on my own understanding of what I think I can’t do.

In the past I was always so so busy, and often it was a coping mechanism for avoiding the pain. I can so relate to the being on auto-pilot and not being mindful of how I am living. To pause, I will do what I’m doing now. Spend time in my devotion, with the Lord, in His Word and the truth that he reveals to me. I am learning to pause and be thankful and accept His Grace, and allow myself some Grace. To set some time apart, live in a measured and mindful way, and set aside the time to plan with his inspiration inbetween all the many daily tasks. Hallelujah!! “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 In Your Presence there is fullness of Joy!    You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. Psalm 16:11 Lord, may I exalt you in all I do, in the decisions I make and the way I conduct my life as I live according to your ways. I always thought I knew how to live but you are showing me differently. Oh Hallelujah &… Read more »

I will pause and thank God between activities. Also when I see something beautiful, hear a great worship song, all the everyday things that we take for granted, I will pause and give thanks.

I have a app by John Eldridge called “Pause” and I set it up on my phone to go off 4 times during the day. It’s a great way to, just pause and listen. I’ve been doing this for 6 months and it really helps me refocus.

I love the idea of praying as I transition between activities. These are exceptional times to pray and give thanks to the Lord. I truly believe this will help me stay in peace and help me experience more joy.

I will intentionally pause between activities as suggested. During the pause I will close my eyes and breathe in acknowledge the Lord.

Continue to take time through the day to pause and give thanks. I can walk and run. I can lift weights. My fingers move so I can type on a key board. I can hear God speak to me. I don’t want to take any of those things for granted. I am blessed and have so much to be thankful for!

On my desk at work, I had a door hanger with the scripture – Be Still and Know that I am God. I looked at it numerous times daily to “stop and know that God was in control”. Now it’s in my camper but I’m going to get it out! I need things in front of my face so I don’t get caught up in busyness. Every day praying I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, obedient to His promptings. My goal is to pause, live in the moment, hear/see what’s happening and respond without needlessly rushing through. That hit me this last weekend sadly. I was short with my 4 yr old granddaughter, to walk faster, pay attention; she had picked a flower and was tying a knot in the stem. Afterwards I felt like such a heel 🙁 I would have complimented her patience, detail and creativity. It’s two days late but I’m going to do that and cherish that little flower she gave me. Thanking God for second chances.
